Jealousy and envious

These are some deadly tools in our life. When we happen to feel like that, we are just actually feeling emptiness in our life. We get jealous as we do not treasure, and appreciate what we are already having on our plates. We get envious of others as we want what they are having, and we feel unfair that we do not have them.

Yet, when we fall into the trap of jealousy and envious, much often we do not realise instantly that we are foolish and stupid for feeling like that. Often as much we may hear that God has his plans for us, and agree that his plans for us is the best for our lives, when we are intrigue by jealousy and envy we feel that God is unfair. We feel that it is so unfair that our friends has incredible brains, better skills, better luck than us, in turn putting ourselves in greater misery, lowering our self esteem, making us just feeling so much insecurities in our lives.

I have made such mistakes, and i still do at times. And i believe that everyone in their lives has commit such mistakes at least one time in their lifetime.

Let us not be ashamed to admit we are jealous and envious at time, but instead let us humble ourselves to tell God we need him to teach us to counter such feelings we are having. Let us be mindful and be much more aware of our feelings, so that whenever we are feeling jealous or envious of others, we can pray immediately and ask God to teach us how to overcome them, and ask him for more guidance in our lives so that we can radiate God's love into people's life. Also, to love all man, as how God would love us.

Amen
